Since its appearance,the casting material Baozhu sand has been widely concerned by the casting industry,widely used in resin sand(furan resin,phenolic resin),sodium silicate sand(organic fat,CO2 hardening),coated sand.Suitable for all kinds of casting methods such as:V method,VRH,lost not only can greatly improve the quality of castings,easy and deoxidization,with sand process easy and convenient(local with sand sheet small batch,the large cast steel plant)with little or no artificial mixing with sand,can save the most casting coating,especially suitable for producing high quality castings.Good fluidity and filling,good formability and casting strength.Good collapsibility,easy sand cleaning operation.Compared with other similar sand,the amount of binder can be saved greatly.Low thermal expansion rate has high dimensional accuracy,few rupture and surface defects and high yield of castings.Less dust pollution to production environment in casting production process,good regeneration,reduce industrial waste discharge,conducive to environmental protection.Good fire resistance.Its application in epc has greatly improved the defect caused by conventional molding sand.The transition from quartz sand to Baozhu sand has a certain period of running in and adapting.

Before the use of baozhu sand,high manganese steel castings produced by Jilin Innovation Lost Mold Equipment Co.,LTD.,were very serious in sand adhesion and sand clamping,which required a lot of manpower and material resources to clean and polish the casting surface every time,which not only increased the production cost of casting,but also caused the casting surface quality to be ugly.These casting defects have been completely eliminated after the use of baozhu sand.To achieve this,cost savings of 6%.

In Yulin diesel engine factory,baozhu sand is used to make diesel engine water kit,which keeps the characteristics of the original sand,overcomes the disadvantages of the original sand,such as large expansion coefficient,large amount of binder and large amount of gas,reduces the amount of resin,and improves the yield of products.

Dozens of manufacturers such as Luoyang Luobei Steel Works,Ruyang Xingrong Machinery Factory and Shandong Hengcheng Foundry Have added 140-320 items of fine sand to 30-40 mesh of baozhu sand by 20-30%.The results show that the sand is also non-stick and has sufficient air permeability and is easy to clean.In order to reduce the production cost,some steel casting plants adopt the method of local single surface sand,which also has the effect of non-sticking sand.
